No Trump

Shark Bridge plays strong NT (15-17) opening. The NT-system is non-forcing Stayman and transfers.

This means that a hand like JT86, QT96, 5, 9654 could bid a Stayman 2 over partners 1NT. Should Notrumper bid a major, we have most likely improved the contract. In the case Notrumper bids 2, we follow up with 2 asking for preference between the majors. At worst we declare a 4-3 fit, which may likely be our best spot, as we are able to ruff some diamonds, thereby gaining entries to lead up to partners hand.
